My Story
I've felt what it's like to be dismissed by a doctor.
Not taken seriously. Told your symptoms are "normal." Sent away without answers.
I trained as a medical doctor in Russia, then spent years doing cancer surgery research in Oslo. I saw first-hand how patients' real problems get handled, and how often they don't. Then I joined the tech industry, and the contrast was impossible to ignore. Software teams ship solutions in weeks. Healthcare moves in decades.
I'm living this myself right now. I'm approaching pre-menopause, and my GP looks at my blood results and tells me everything is fine. It doesn't feel fine. Being dismissed when you know something is off. That's the specific thing I want to fix.
I want better care for women in Australia going through hormonal transition. That's what I'm building.

What I'm Building
I'm co-founding Merid Health, Australia's first bulk-billed telehealth platform for women's health, starting with menopause care.
Seven million Australian women live with menopause symptoms. Most wait years for answers. Most pay hundreds out of pocket for care that should be accessible to everyone.
We're changing that.
